  •         Identifying Sources of Bias that May Affect the Results of a Statistical Survey and the Interpreting Survey Results;
  •         Nature of the Data in a Distribution;
  •         Constructing a Frequency Table or a Relative Frequency Table;
  •         Arithmetic Mean, Median and Mode of a Distribution;
  •         Determining the Most Appropriate Measure of Central Tendency;
  •         Measures of Position: Quartiles, Quintales, Deciles and Percentiles;
  •         Stem-and-leaf Tables and Box-and-whisker Plots;
  •         Determining the Best Graph for a Distribution;
  •         Comparing Two Distributions on the Basis of Their Respective Graphs.
Evaluation:

A supervised ministerial examination in an adult education centre.

Passing mark: 60%
