The course Division of Labour and Workers’ Organization encourages the learner to take a closer look at the world of work by focusing on the evolution of the division of labour and workers' organizations with regard to the economic situation in Canada and Québec.

- The emergence of the working class in Canada and in Québec (19th Century);
- New ways of organizing work (1896-1929);
- Political and economic aspects of the recognition of workers' organizations (1929-1959);
- Political and economic factors involved in union organization (1960-1990).
